    Description

    This is a vintage "La Fonda At End Of Trail" oval platter/plate.  Hotel china/restaurant ware.  In acceptable to good used condition.  Black checked border and "La Fonda" logo are nice and bright.  There is no crazing.  Surface of platter has light utensil marks.  Rim above logo has a 2 inch chip that is mostly visible from backside.  Opposite rim has a very small crack.  (See last 4 photos.)  There are some some light stains.  Back of platter is marked "Warwick China Beacham-Mignaroot Howe Santa Fe, N.M."  Measurements are apx. 9 1/4 X 13 1/4 inches.  Clean and smoke free.
